Can be used throughout the growing period for barrows or gilts. Use anytime that big-muscled hogs need to chill out. Can be used as a base feed and incorporate other additives to increase the protein as needed (use a 16 or an 18 for a bit more growth or more shape). It will kind of shut them down, as growth and average daily gain will decrease. If they want more growth, they will add a higher protein feed. Works with older hogs since it will slow them down and help them mature.
